Welcome to the art of

William (Bill) O. Beaton

Artist Statement

Bill's pictureLiving in Canada with it's natural captivating beauty has greatly effected my choice of painting. My vision has been expanded to include the splendor of my surroundings. In one sentence "Nature drives my creativity". My memories and experiences also play a significant role in my creations.
My desire is to guide the viewers eye beyond the natural boundaries of my painting. This encourages the viewer to use his or her own imagination as a part of my creation.
My medium of choice is Acrylics because of the mediums versatility, colour and fast drying all effect my work. The more realism I can put in a painting, the more satisfaction I gain from my efforts.

Painting has really changed my life. To create time to paint---I've hired a house cleaner, a gardener and someone to mow my lawn.
